Captain…9-12 record for the season… 18 points in 83-60 wins over Florida Southern… 22 points vs. Florida Gators for the win… sprained ankle mid season caused him to just miss passing the 200 points mark… scored 187 points for third highest on team… one of 3 graduating seniors… won the National Athletic Trophy

As a Junior (1951-52)

Member of the starting five… scored over 200 points this season… scored 251 points for third-highest on team

As a Sophomore (1950-51)

Record season with 10 wins and 12 losses… After season opener loss to Rollins, team bounced back for 5 straights vs. Florida Southern, LSU, Teacher’s College of Connecticut, FSU, and Dartmouth… beat heavily favored LaSalle College 77-75 in a heated overtime game… toughest schedule in UM basketball history… team’s first time flying in airplanes to games instead of travelling by train or bus

Personal: Graduated with a B.Ed in Physical Education… played basketball for three years… M Club member sophomore to senior year… three year member of Alpha Epsilon Pi
