2006 (SOPHOMORE): Played in all 13 games as the holder for placekicks … Saw action at quarterback against Florida A&M, when he directed one scoring drive (threw one pass for three yards in that game and scored a one-yard touchdown on his only carry) … Received the team’s Albert Bentley Award as the top walk-onplayer.

2005 (FRESHMAN): Walk-on who practiced on the scout team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterman and two-year starter … As a senior in 2004, completed 64 of 98 passes for 1,250 yards and 12 touchdowns … Team reached the second round of the Class 4-A playoffs … Selected first-team All-District and second-team All-Area and All-County … Finalist for the academic Heisman Award and received a scholarship from the National Football Foundation … Coached by Charlie Persson.
