AS A SOPHOMORE (2006): Competed during the outdoor season as a member of the 4×100-meter relay…ran the third leg of the 4×100-meter relay that placed third at the ACC Outdoor Championships with a time of 40.83 seconds.

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-year starter for one of South Florida’s top high school programs…rated the no. 19 prospect on the Miami Herald’s Miami-Dade Top 25…rated the no. 63 prospect in Florida by SuperPrep…as a senior in 2003, caught 25 passes for 720 yards (28.8 avg.) and four touchdowns…as a junior, caught 21 passes for 250 yards…chose Miami over Pittsburgh, Indiana, South Florida and Iowa…coached by Roland Smith.
