CAREER: Talented walk-on player who was impressing the team’s coaches…However, he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee late in spring practice and is expected to miss the 2006 season…Business management major.

2005 (FRESHMAN): Did not play but proved to be a valuable member of the scout team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Walther Lutheran (Ill.)…Played both tight end and defensive end…Selected All-State as a defensive end as a senior when he made 30-plus tackles, nine sacks and 16 tackles for a loss…Also led the team in receptions as a tight end with seven touchdowns and seven receptions for 40-plus yards…Graduated with honors…Coached by Bruce Tuomi.
