2004 (FRESHMAN): Saw his first action with the Hurricanes, appearing in two games as a reserve defensive lineman…Played against Louisiana Tech and Georgia Tech.

 

2003 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the 2003 season as a redshirt.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: A star on both offense and defense throughout his high school career, he projects as a defensive tackle in college… has impressive strength and bull rushes many opponents…his style of play has evoked comparisons to current Hurricanes’ DTVince Wilfork…as a junior in 2001, made 85 tackles and had 15 quarterback sacks…the nation’s No. 29 defensive lineman by Allen Wallace’s SuperPrep…a SuperPrep All-American…the No. 19 player in Florida by Allen Wallace’s SuperPrep…a member of the Palm Beach Post Area Top 22…the No. 95 player in Florida on the Orlando Sentinel Florida Top 100…chose Miami over Florida, Tennessee and Brigham Young…coached by Tony Rasnizk.
