AT MIAMI: Veteran defender who is recovering from a knee injury suffered last season… has been one of the team’s top players on the kickoff and punt coverage units throughout his career.

 

2002 (JUNIOR): Played in five games before he suffered a season-ending knee injury in practice preceding the West Virginia game… saw most of his action on special teams… had three tackles on the season, all unassisted.

 

2001 (SOPHOMORE): Played in nine games despite being slowed by a shoulder injury for much of the season… saw most of his action on special teams… had two tackles on the season, both unassisted.

 

2000 (FRESHMAN): Played in all 11 games as a true freshman… saw extensive playing time on special teams… totaled six tackles (all unassisted)… had a season-high two stops at Rutgers… also made solo tackles against West Virginia, Florida State, Louisiana Tech and Boston College.
