HIGH SCHOOL: Elizabethtown Area…began playing football during his junior year…excellent athlete who excelled in football, basketball, and track, garnering a total of seven varsity letters in the three sports…missed most of his senior season after breaking the left fibula in the season’s second game…led his team in receiving as a junior, catching 15 passes for 289 yards and three touchdowns in a run-oriented offense…best game was a 6-catch, 115-yard performance with 2 touchdowns against Manheim Central during his junior season…also played cornerback, recording 13 tackles (6 solos), a fumble recovery and a forced fumble as a senior…had 8 tackles with one forced fumble and one fumble recovery against Donegal High in his senior season…earned three letters in track, competing in sprints and horizontal jumps…tied the school record in the long jump with a leap of 21 feet, 8 inches…also ran a leg on a school-record setting 4×100-meter relay unit (42.5 seconds)…was captain of the basketball team his senior season…averaged 10.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game on the hardwood as a senior…was an Honor Roll student and a member of the National Honor Society…coached in football by Joe Mack.
