2003 (SOPHOMORE): Saw action in several games as a reserveoffensive tackle…began to grasp the Miami system and madeimprovements in technique and overall ability as the season progressed.

 

2002 (FRESHMAN): Played sparingly as a reserve offensivetackle…worked hard in the weight room to add strength and bulkto his impressive frame.

 

2001 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the 2001 season with a redshirt.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Bakersfield…one of the top offensive lineprospects on the Pacific Coast…was a starter from his sophomoreyear in high school, starting the final 37 games of his prepcareer…a two-time All-State selection who graded at better than90 percent (91% as a junior, 97% as a senior) as a blocker over hislast two seasons…also punted in high school, averaging 44.9 yardsper attempt as a senior, 39.8 yards per punt as a junior…recorded58 “pancake” blocks as a senior (blocks where the opponent wasknocked on his back)…an outstanding two-sport (football/baseball)athlete who excels as a pitcher (91 mph fastball) and an offensivelineman… helped lead his team to a 12-1 record in his senior sea-son…has excellent footwork and is exceptionally athletic…plans toplay both baseball and football … an excellent student with a 3.26grade-point average…rated the 19th best offensive line prospect inthe nation by SuperPrep…listed as the No. 51 overall prospect inCalifornia by SuperPrep…coached by Tim Hartnett.
