Served as coxswain for the Varsity Four, Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Eight boats … Began the year with the Varsity Four and JV8+ boat before moving to the Varsity Eight crew … Called the Hurricanes Varsity Eight boat to a third place finish (7:00.01) at the ACC Championships … Opened the year calling the Hurricanes V4+ boat at the Head of the Oklahoma Regatta and a first place mark (15:51.753) grabbing wins over crews from Washington State and Harvard/Radcliffe … Called the V8+ in a tri-race with Rochester and Dowling, with the boat posting a winning mark of 6:52.06 … Served coxswain for the Varsity Eight race at the Windermere Cup against the Brazilian National Team and University of Washington … Crew took a ninth place showing out of 23 participating boats … Led the signals for the 2V8+ boat in a tri-race versus Barry and Nova Southeastern … Helped the UM crew to a third place finish with a time of 17:09.6 in the race … Served as coxswain for the 2V8+ boat at the annual Rivanna Romp hosted by the University of Virginia … Also helped UM to a V8+ win over BIG EAST power Connecticut … Called the `Canes Varsity Eight boat to a fifth place mark in opening-day action at the San Diego Crew Classic … Came back to post a fourth place time (7:07.43) in finals action at San Diego … Coxed the fourth place JV8+ boat in opening-day action at the Aramark Sprints South/Central Regional Championships, advancing to the finals the next day … Boat also finished fourth in the “C” finals.

Freshman (2007-08)
Capped off a stellar freshman year as coxswain for the Varsity Eight crew … Called the crew to a boat-best time of 6:44.64 in a dual-race against in-state opponent UCF … Team picked up a respectable time of 14:16.12 and a seventh place finish in the Rivanna Romp (Nov. 11) to open the season, and serving as Kharrazi’s collegiate debut as coxswain for the Hurricanes … Helped lead Varsity Eight crew to a first place finishing mark of 7:07.32 at Eastern Michigan … UM finished fourth at the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC Championships) collecting a time of 6:46.3 … Coxed for the crew that collected a winning time of 5:52.6 in a head-to-head matchup with Jacksonville … Served her only Varsity Four duties of the year in that same contest against the Dolphins of JU with the team rowing a time of 6:43.8 for the race.

Coxed for the Oakland Strokes … Two-time Long Beach Invitational Junior Varsity eight winner … Two-time medalist at the Championships in the Junior Varsity eight … One-time medalist at Regional Championships in the Lightweight four and eight, and Junior Varsity four and eight … Nominated “Most Inspirational” senior year … Named Valedictorian of her senior class … Four-time California Honor Roll member.

Personal
Majoring in Psychology at UM … Daughter of Martin and Lisa Kharrazi … Has four siblings, Rebekah (21) who is captain of the lightweight rowing team for Harvard, Jeremy (18) who attends Vanderbilt, Evan (14) who attends Oakland School for the Arts and excels in dance, and Bethany (9) who swims… Chose to attend UM because of the location and opportunity to succeed in athletics and academics.

First impression of Miami was that the campus was beautiful and had a very diverse student body … Says her favorite athletic influence is anyone who pushes her to be her best and improve each day … Favorite sports moment is winning the C finals at last year’s South Centrals.
