Miami Women's Basketball Invites Local Schools to Annual Education Day
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami women’s basketball team will once again welcome local elementary schools to the Watsco Center for its annual Education Day. This year’s event will be held on Monday, Nov. 16 with an 11 a.m. tipoff against Le Moyne.
Designed for students in kindergarten through fifth grade, Education Day combines STEM learning with the excitement of Miami Hurricanes women’s basketball, creating a unique educational experience in a fun, engaging atmosphere.
In addition to the action on the court, fans will enjoy entertainment from the world-famous ZOOperstars! featuring fan-favorite inflatable characters including LeBronco James, Mia Hammster, Kevin Duranteater, Mackerel Jordan, Sealrena Williams, and many more.
Admission to Women’s Basketball Education Day is completely free for participating schools and all students in attendance will receive a Chick-fil-A Activity Book (while supplies last).
The annual event continues Miami Athletics’ commitment to engaging the local community by providing students with an unforgettable educational experience both inside and outside the classroom.
