Joyce Named to Ray Guy Award Preseason Watch List
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami punter Dylan Joyce has been named to the preseason watch list for the Ray Guy Award, presented annually to the nation’s top collegiate punter.
Joyce enters the 2026 season after handling Miami’s punting duties for the third consecutive year and turning in another productive campaign in 2025.
The Australia native averaged 44.4 yards across 54 punts last season, with 13 traveling at least 50 yards. Joyce placed 23 punts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line while recording just six touchbacks.
Joyce produced his best single-game average against Louisville on Oct. 17, averaging 50.3 yards per punt. He punted a season-high five times in six different games during the Hurricanes’ 2025 campaign.
The Ray Guy Award is named for College and Pro Football Hall of Famer Ray Guy and honors the nation’s top punter each season.
The three finalists for the award will be announced on Nov. 24, followed by a voting period that runs through Dec. 5. The Ray Guy Award winner will be announced Dec. 11 during The Home Depot College Football Awards on ESPN.
