Miami Women’s Basketball Picked Eighth in ACC Preseason Poll
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami women’s basketball team was selected to finish eighth in the ACC Preseason Poll, as announced by the conference on the ACC Network Tuesday evening.
After finishing last season in ninth place in the conference standings at the conclusion of last season, the Hurricanes are set to enter a new era under first-year Head Coach Tricia Cullop.
Cullop and her staff worked to bring in a plethora of new talent this past offseason, signing the 18th best recruiting class in the country, in addition to adding significant talent through the transfer portal.
Miami will host Palm Beach Atlantic in an exhibition contest on Sunday, Oct. 27, before opening the season at home on Monday, Nov. 4 against Stetson.
Season tickets for the 2024-25 women’s basketball season are on sale now and available to purchase at MiamiHurricanes.com/tickets.
