Hurricanes Climb in Top 25 Polls
CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Following a record-setting 62-0 win over Ball State, the Miami Hurricanes moved up in both major college football polls released Sunday.
Miami jumped two spots to No. 8 in the Associated Press Top 25, while also rising one spot to No. 11 in the US LBM Coaches Poll.
This is the Hurricanes’ highest ranking in the AP poll since Oct. 4, 2020, when Miami checked in seventh nationally.
UM is one of three Atlantic Coast Conference programs to land in this week’s rankings, joined by No. 19/20 Louisville and No. 21/19 Clemson.
The Hurricanes wrap up non-conference play against USF at Raymond James Stadium Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN.
