Rowing Has Eleven Student-Athletes Named to CRCA Scholar-Athlete Team

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Miami rowing was honored with 11 student-athletes being named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) National Scholar-Athlete Team as announced Thursday, June 6.

The Canes’ 11 honorees are the second most for a single season, trailing just the 12 that were tabbed in 2022. Miami rowing performed exceptionally in the classroom, posting a 3.49 team grade point average. 

To be eligible for the CRCA National Scholar-Athlete honor, student-athletes were required to have a 3.5 cumulative GPA, be in their second, third or fourth year of eligibility and rowed in her institution’s NCAA or IRA (lightweight) eligible boat for a minimum of 75 percent of the current spring races or race in an NCAA boat at their conference championship.
