Women's Basketball Sets Program Record With Six Tabbed to All-ACC Academic Team

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Miami women’s basketball set a program record with six Hurricanes being tabbed to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Team as announced by the league office Thursday, April 11.

Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have competed in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests on the season.

Shayeann Day-Wilson, Lemyah Hylton, Jaida Patrick, Jasmyne Roberts, Ally Stedman and Ja’Leah Williams were all selected to the team, with Roberts earning her second such distinction.
