Rapp Signs With South Melbourne FC
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Former University of Miami women’s soccer student-athlete Grace Rapp inked her next professional contract, this time with South Melbourne FC in Australia as announced by the organization Wednesday, Dec. 20.
Rapp was a four-year letterwinner with the Canes, tallying 70 games played and 61 starts between 2014-17. While at Miami, Rapp logged seven goals and eight assists as a mainstay in the UM lineup.
A seasoned traveler, Rapp was born in Hong Kong before growing up in England and playing with the England U-19 team, Yeovil Town Ladies Football Club and Keynsham Town Ladies Football.
Upon graduating from Miami, Rapp went on to play in 22 games with Iceland’s Selfoss Football Club, as well as another 39 games with Reims in France.
