Flory Flourishes at Ohio State Invitational

COLUMBUS, OH—The University of Miami diving team competed in the Ohio State Invitational this weekend.

Junior Max Flory shined throughout the invitational, starting the weekend off placing second in the 1-meter dive (380.35). After having a successful Thursday, Flory topped his performance winning the 3-meter dive (425.70). On the final day of the invitational, Flory placed third in the platform dive (408.45) and Mohamed Farouk tied for sixth in the same event (346.00). Junior Brodie Scapens placed third overall in the 3-meter dive (405.90).

On the women’s side, veteran diver Mia Valle placed third in the 3-meter dive (364.50).

The Miami diving team will head to West Virginia in December to compete at the 2022 USA Diving Winter National Championships.
