Robinson Tabbed ACC Field Performer of the Week

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Junior Russell Robinson was awarded ACC Field Performer of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.

This is the second such honor of his career with the last coming exactly one year ago today. He is the first Hurricane to earn the accolade for the 2022 outdoor season.

Robinson posted a NCAA-leading long jump mark of 7.81 meters to win the event at the Hurricane Invitational last weekend, Miami’s first outdoor meet of the year.

The Canes return to the track this weekend when they host the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational on Saturday inside Cobb Stadium. Admission is free for fans.
