AN UPSET WIN IN THE VILLE

“My best memory as a Miami Hurricane is when we beat No. 2 Louisville at their place. It was a close game, we won by three on their home court. It was just amazing because it was our first really big win. There were more fans there than I had ever seen at a college basketball game and it was just such an amazing experience.”

MYKE’D UP WITH MYKEA

"Heart over height is her saying and she is the standard of that."

Head Coach Katie Meier

“The first time I saw Mykea play, she made five game-winning plays. They weren’t just buckets – it was a steal, a charge, forcing a travel or dishing an assist. She has been that player for us. Heart over height is her saying and she is the standard of that. With the adversity that she has been through, she is a really soulful and deep person, but there is combustible engine in that kid. She has so much fuel and drive and heart that she is a complete inspiration.”
