Miami Football and INFLCR Launch NIL Program 'Momentum'

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Hurricanes Football Tuesday unveiled ‘Momentum,’ its comprehensive Name, Image and Likeness program in partnership with INFLCR that includes an expansion into the company’s new NIL Suite.

The addition of the NIL Suite allowed Miami to help solidify Momentum, integrating greater education and support for Hurricanes football student-athletes. This expansion builds on the massive successes seen from student-athletes on the INFLCR app and will help guide the department around opportunities involving Name, Image and Likeness for student-athletes.

INFLCR now serves more than 100 NCAA collegiate athletic programs, representing more than 700 teams and more than 30,000 athletes. Miami Athletics’ partnership with INFLCR began in 2018.

“We’re excited to extend our ongoing partnership with INFLCR by launching the Momentum campaign for our football program,” Director of Athletics Blake James said. “Our goal at Miami is to Build Champions on and off the field, and a big part of that going forward is providing our student-athletes the best opportunities and resources to help build their personal brand.”

“We want our student-athletes to maximize their opportunities on Name, Image and Likeness and partnering with INFLCR on the Momentum campaign is going to help us accelerate that process.”

Head Coach Manny Diaz

Miami student-athletes, coaches, staff and other brand ambassadors for the Hurricanes’ varsity sports have access to thousands of photos, videos and graphics produced by the department and delivered through the INFLCR software and mobile app, to share on their personal social-media channels.

Momentum utilizes the new NIL Suite from INFLCR, the first of several products that the company will be rolling out as part of an innovative NIL program. The NIL Suite combines custom reporting with digital education and content consulting for student-athletes, coaches, and the athletic program social media accounts.

“You have the unique opportunity as a Miami Hurricane to get a great education, compete for championships and build your brand in the heart of one of the world’s most dynamic cities,” head coach Manny Diaz said. “We want our student-athletes to maximize their opportunities on Name, Image and Likeness and partnering with INFLCR on the Momentum campaign is going to help us accelerate that process.”

The goal of Momentum is to consolidate Miami’s many tools already offered in life skills, financial literacy, the U-Network, and brand creation and enhancement into one overarching program that is one of the best in college football. The three main pillars of the program are assess, educate and support – championed and executed by many of Miami’s interdepartmental staffs and employees.

How It Works

Miami’s staff, with assistance from INFLCR’s NIL Suite, will continue to create a robust program in which student-athletes are equipped with the tools, content, financial literacy and more to compete in the NIL marketplace.

Once equipped with those tools, Miami football student-athletes will be able to access the content provided by the communications, digital, video and graphics staff, delivered through INFLCR, to effectively communicate their story and execute a custom name, image and likeness strategy.

After the fact, Miami student-athletes will be able to measure, assess, and analyze data with the educational tools at their fingertips to continue to develop the best personal brand possible.

Momentum strives to be a complete and comprehensive name, image and likeness program that not only sets student-athletes up for success while at The U but for their time after graduation and beyond.
