Harley Named ACC Receiver of the Week

CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Senior Michael Harley was recognized as ACC Receiver of the Week, it was announced Monday by the Atlantic Coast Conference.

One of Miami’s top performers last time out, Harley finished with career-high totals in every category in a 19-14 victory over Virginia.

Harley’s 10 catches were tied for the second-most by a Hurricane since Miami joined the ACC and came just two shy of the school record of 12. Harley, who scored on a 43-yard touchdown on the second play from scrimmage, had 170 yards – the most versus an ACC opponent since Allen Hurns had 173 vs. Pitt in 2013 and the most overall since Phillip Dorsett had 201 versus Arkansas State in 2014.

The #12/#12 Hurricanes (5-1, 4-1 ACC) have an open date on Oct. 31. Miami returns to the gridiron on Fri., Nov. 6 with a road matchup at NC State (4-2, 4-2 ACC).
