Ableman, Kershaw Release 2019-20 Schedule
CORAL GABLES, Fla. — University of Miami swimming & diving coaches Randy Ableman and Andy Kershaw released the program’s schedule for the 2019-20 season Thursday.
The Hurricanes open their season Sept. 27 with a dual meet against rival Florida at the Norman Whitten Pool Center at 3 p.m.
The following day, Miami makes its first of two trips to crosstown foe FIU. The Hurricanes take on the Panthers on Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. and will also battle the Panthers and Illinois in a tri-meet at FIU on Nov. 1-2.
Select Hurricanes will make their annual trip to the SMU Classic from Oct. 11-12 and next travel to Annapolis, Md., for a multi-team invitational featuring host Navy, Johns Hopkins, Towson and George Washington – on Oct. 18.
Miami travels to Topeka, Kan., for a weekend at the Kansas Classic before closing its fall schedule at the Toyota U.S. Open from Dec. 4-8 on the campus of Georgia Tech.
Members of Coach Ableman’s diving contingent will represent Miami at USA Diving Winter Nationals from Dec. 16.-22.
The Hurricanes’ spring schedule includes dual meets with Boston College (Jan. 4) and FGCU (Jan. 18).
The annual ACC Swimming & Diving Championships are set from Feb. 19-22 in Greensboro, N.C., while the NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships (Athens, Ga.) are scheduled for March 18-21.
