Miami Honors 11 at Celebration of Women's Athletics

Miami Athletics hosted its fifth annual Celebration of Women’s Athletics Presented by adidas Sunday at the Watsco Center Fieldhouse.

More than 300 were in attendance as UM announced a record-breaking $500,000+ raised for women’s athletics. The event honored 11 female student-athletes and ESPN reporter and UM alumna Allison Williams served as emcee.

The CWA honors current Miami female student-athletes from each of UM’s nine women’s programs for excellence on the playing field, as well as in the classroom and community. It also honors some of the pioneers who have helped pave the way for the continued success of women’s athletics at Miami.
