M. Tennis Set to Host FAU
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami men’s tennis team will close out its three-match homestand when it faces Florida Atlantic at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.

The Hurricanes enter the contest after securing a pair of victories over Stetson (7-0) and Liberty (6-1) to open the season 2-0 for the first time since 2012. Miami is 22-1 all-time against the Owls, with the Canes riding a 14-match winning streak into the contest.
In the most recent matchup, the Hurricanes secured a 4-2 victory at home on Feb. 11, 2018. Sophomore Adria Soriano Barrera gave Miami an early 2-0 lead with a victory at the No. 2 position against Remi Chancerel, before sophomore Bojan Jankulovski clinched the team victory, topping Ignacio Garcia, 6-4, 6-2.
The Hurricanes, led by third-year head coach Aljosa Piric, feature a trio of nationally-ranked singles players in sophomores Adria Soriano Barrera at No. 21 and Bojan Jankulovski at No. 35, while freshman Francisco Bastias cracks the top 100 at No. 97.
FAU enters the match at 3-2, securing victories against UNC Wilmington, North Florida and Nebraska, while falling to No. 20 Florida State and BYU. The Owls do not have any ranked individuals or pairs.
Following Monday’s match, the Hurricanes will travel west for a showdown with Utah State at ITA Kickoff Weekend in Austin, Texas.
The University of Miami – Coral Gables Campus has introduced an updated parking policy for the 2018-19 school year. Enforcement is now extended to seven days a week, 8 a.m. to just 11 p.m. PayByPhone and additional pay stations are available across all campus parking lots and garages to facilitate visitor parking.
