CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami Athletics Department announced staff promotions within the accounting, alumni programs, communications, football operations, ticket operations and video departments Tuesday.

The Hurricanes promoted Julia Kincade to Associate Director of Athletic Accounting; Rick Remmert to Assistant Athletic Director, Alumni Programs; Jessica Green to Assistant Director, Alumni Programs; Camron Ghorbi and David Villavicencio to Associate Director of Communications; Justin Wells to Assistant Director, Football Operations; Zach Bingham and Andrew Posen to Associate Director, Ticket Operations; and Cat Gutierrez, KC Hahey and Anthony Lestochi to Athletics Video Producer.

Kincade’s accounting responsibilities include reconciliation and posting of all ticket, parking and gift revenue, audit preparation, and the settlement with Hard Rock Stadium.  She is the Business Office’s liaison with the ticket office, Hurricane Club and University Advancement.  She also creates and manages the budget for baseball and volleyball and other administrative accounts.  She came to Miami in 2015 after four years in the Arizona Coyotes’ ticket office.

Remmert returned to UM in 2012 to run the alumni programs department. He previously served as Miami’s Assistant AD for Marketing and Promotions from 1978-87. Green joined UM last year as Events Planner for alumni programs after working as the executive assistant and brand manager for professional tennis player Venus Williams.

Ghorbi, a UM graduate, has been with the athletic department since 2011. He will continue to oversee communications efforts for baseball and swimming and diving, but will now have increased football communications duties. Villavicencio, also a UM graduate, will serve as the editorial contact for football in addition to his communications efforts for volleyball, rowing and track and field. He joined Miami’s communications staff in 2012.

Wells oversees the football operations intern program, manages the practice visitors list, coordinates daily office responsibilities, assists with bowl preparation and the football awards show, and advances all UM away games. He also serves as the assistant director for the Mark Richt Football Camps. Wells came to UM in 2014 after working for the Arena Football League’s Arizona Rattlers.

Bingham is in his third year at UM after working in the ticket office at Notre Dame, Alabama, the Atlanta Braves and Talladega Speedway. Posen is also in his third year at Miami. He previously worked in the ticket office at Kansas State. Bingham and Posen will see increased responsibilities in all athletics ticketing day-to-day and game day operations for football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and baseball.

Gutierrez, who joined UM in 2015, produces “The Mark Richt Show” and also shoots and edits features for football, women’s basketball and baseball. Hahey, who is the primary football videographer, also joined UM in 2015 after working in the athletic department at Nova Southeastern. Lestochi is a member of UM’s broadcast department and will see increased production duties as the department moves towards the launch of the linear ACC Network in 2019.
