TOP PERFORMERS
Allen Hurns (Jacksonville Jaguars) – seven catches, 98 yards, 1 touchdown
Playing in a Thursday night game against Tennessee, the best game of the season from wide receiver Allen Hurns couldn’t save Jacksonville, which fell to the Titans, 36-22. Hurns caught a team-high seven passes for a season-best 98 yards, including a five-yard touchdown grab in the fourth quarter. Hurns leads the Jaguars in yards (443), and now has over 2,000 career receiving yards in under three NFL seasons since going undrafted as Miami’s single-season receiving leader as a senior in 2013.
Duke Johnson (Cleveland Browns) – four carries, six catches, 116 all-purpose yards
Cleveland Browns second-year running back Duke Johnson showed off his versatility in a 31-28 loss to New York Jets Sunday afternoon. Johnson rushed four times for 29 yards and caught a game high-tying six passes for 87 yards – second-most only to teammate Terrelle Pryor. Johnson has averaged five yards per carry through the team’s first eight games, and has added 297 receiving yards on 34 catches – the second-most of any player on the team.
Frank Gore (Indianapolis Colts) – 37 rushing yards, 25 receiving yards, 1 touchdown
In the past five seasons, ageless running back Frank Gore had a combined three receiving touchdowns. He caught his third touchdown pass of 2016 Sunday in a 30-14 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Gore rushed nine times for 37 yards, and scored Indianapolis’ first touchdown of the game on an 18-yard reception in the second quarter. The 33-year-old Gore is averaging 4.2 yards per carry in his 12th NFL season, and is projected to finish the season with over 1,000 yards for Indianapolis.
Travis Benjamin (San Diego Chargers) – 3 catches, 44 yards, 1 touchdown
Travis Benjamin has been showing out in his first season with the Bolts, and that stretch continued Sunday in a 27-19 loss to Denver. Benjamin caught three passes for 44 yards against the Broncos, including a 14-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter. Now in his fifth NFL season, Benjamin leads the Chargers with 35 receptions and is on pace for his first 1,000-yard season (1,018). His previous season high was 966, set on a career-best 68 receptions with Cleveland in 2015.

Erik Swoope (Indianapolis Colts) caught multiple passes for the third straight game, totaling 30 yards on two receptions in a loss to Kansas City…Phillip Dorsett (Indianapolis Colts) had five catches for 33 yards against the Chiefs…Denzel Perryman (San Diego Chargers) had one tackle against Denver before leaving the game early with a hamstring injury…Ladarius Gunter (Green Bay Packers) started and totaled two tackles and two passes defended in a loss to Atlanta…Clive Walford (Oakland Raiders) caught three passes for 31 yards in a win over Tampa Bay…Jimmy Graham (Seattle Seahawks) had a three-catch, 34-yard performance against New Orleans…Greg Olsen (Carolina Panthers) had one catch against Arizona…Calais Campbell (Arizona Cardinals) finished with nine tackles against Carolina…Tracy Howard (Cleveland Browns) had two tackles in a loss to the New York Jets.
