Men's Tennis Concludes Play at ITA Southeast Regionals
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The University of Miami men’s tennis team wrapped up play Sunday at the 2016 ITA Southeast Regional Championships Presented by Oracle held at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center.
No. 31 Piotr Lomacki began the morning against Florida State’s Guy Iradukunda in the quarterfinals. The Poland native, seeded third, fell 4-6, 4-6.
Seeded third overall in the doubles main draw, the duo of Lomacki and Max Andrews matched up against Florida’s Johannes Ingildsen and Alfredo Perez in the quarterfinals. The duo dropped their match, 1-8.
Following this weekend’s tournament in Tallahassee, the Hurricanes will be back on the practice courts for the next couple weeks before returning to action, Nov. 4 at the Bulldog Scramble in Athens, Ga.
