Dual Meet Postponed to Saturday at 9 a.m.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Friday’s dual swimming & diving meet between the University of Miami and FIU has been postponed due to inclement weather. The event is rescheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Whitten University Center Pool in Coral Gables, Fla.

The Hurricanes topped FIU, 205-95, in last year’s dual meet, its regular season finale before the ACC Swimming & Diving Championships.

Miami opened their season last weekend at the All-Florida Invite hosted by Nova Southeastern, and finished the three-day competition in second place. UM’s top point-getter from the opening weekend was junior Julie Suarez, who delivered several impressive performances.
