On April 22, 2011, Coach L was named the 12th head coach of the men’s basketball program.
On Nov. 11, 2011, The Canes downed Tennessee Tech 69-58 in Coach L’s first game at UM.
On Dec. 3, 2011, Miami beat UMass 83-75 for the 100th victory in the BankUnited Center.
On Jan. 18, 2011, the Canes beat Clemson 76-73 for Coach L’s first ACC victory.
On Feb. 5, 2012, the Canes upset No. 5 Duke on the road at Cameron Indoor Stadium in overtime 78-74.
On Feb. 26, 2012, students rushed the court after Miami routed No. 15 Florida State 78-62.
On March 20, 2012, Rion Brown knocked down four threes in Miami’s 66-50 NIT win over Valparaiso.
On Nov. 28, 2012, Miami upset No. 13 Michigan State 67-59 in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.
On Jan. 23, 2013, Miami demolished No. 1 Duke 90-63.
On Feb. 9, 2013, the Hurricanes beat North Carolina 87-61.

On Jan. 13, 2015, the Hurricanes knocked off a top five Duke team 90-74 for the third time in four years under Coach L.
On Jan. 24, 2015, UM took down Syracuse at the Carrier Dome 66-62.
On March 31, 2015, the Hurricanes advanced to the NIT final with a 60-57 win over Temple.
