A: Being at Miami has been hectic, but enjoyable.

Q: What has been your favorite part of being a Hurricane?

A: My favorite part of being a Cane has been interacting with my teammates and starting to work out.

Q: Has anyone taken you under their wing, shown you around and helped with your transition to college? If so, who, and how have they helped you adjust?

A: Dakota (Dailey-Harris), Jaalen (Jones), TeQuille (Jackson) and Stefani (Kerrison) have all helped with my adjustment just by talking to me and making me feel comfortable.

Q: What has been the biggest adjustment for you since you arrived?

A: The biggest adjustment for me has been waking up early, plus barely getting a break throughout the day.

Q: What are you most excited for about being in college?

A: I’m most excited about finally working toward what I want to do as a career. Obviously in elementary, middle, and high school, everyone takes the same core classes. But now my education will be pointed in a specific direction to fulfill my goals.

Fill in the Blank

I committed to Miami over other schools because: of the strong coaching staff and how supportive the team was of each other when I came on my visit. Miami also offered my major and it is close to home.

When I think of Miami track and field, I think of: FAMILY

My favorite part of being a Hurricane student-athlete is: being around people with the same passion and drive as me. We’re all working toward a common goal: Success.

If I had to describe the team in one word it would be: Unified

Coral Gables is different from my hometown because: it’s a bit bigger than Royal Palm Beach.

The biggest adjustment from high school to college has been: sitting in a classroom. I had to readjust to that after being homeschooled for three years.

When I committed to the University of Miami, I felt: sure of my decision and excited.

I love track and field because: God has given me this talent, so I’m going to utilize it to the best of my ability.

My favorite moment in my track and field career was: Nationals in 9th grade and nationals 11th grade.
