Canes on Track - Ep. 4 - Leaving a Legacy

Canes on Track is a video series giving an in-depth look at the Miami track and field and cross country programs.

Hosted by senior Taneisha Cordell, Canes on Track will feature interviews with coaches and student-athletes, as well as a look behind-the-scenes of the @MiamiTrack program.

In the latest episode of Canes on Track, Cordell sits down with seniors Lea Johnson and Christian Cook to get their thoughts on the upcoming 2015 season — their last one at the University of Miami.

Johnson, who was the ACC Champion in the weight throw and the hammer throw a year ago, hopes to build off her success and continue to succeed at the conference and national level. Cook also hopes to leave his mark on the program, helping the men’s team continue to rise in the rankings..

The 2015 Miami track and field indoor season is scheduled to begin Jan. 17 at the Nittany Lion Challenge in State College, Pa.
