CANES VS. THE SEC
•  Miami’s matchup with South Carolina marks a rare meeting between the Canes and a team from the Southeastern Conference.
•  Since 1990, Miami has played just 10 games against teams from the SEC. Six of those 10 games have come against Florida. The Canes own a 6-4 record in those contests.
•  Arkansas (1991), Alabama (1992), Tennessee (2003) and LSU (2005) are the only other SEC teams Miami have faced since 1990.

19 SENIORS TO SUIT UP FOR THE FINAL TIME
• Seniors Raphael Akpejiori, Thurston Armbrister, Ricky Carroll, Anthony Chickillo, Hugo Delapenha, Phillip Dorsett, Jon Feliciano, Nantambu Fentress, Ladarius Gunter, Sean Harvey, Jake Heaps, Shane McDermott, Anthony Naser, Denzel Perryman, Olsen Pierre, Ronnie Regula, Jordan Tolson, Clive Walford and Ryan Williams will suit for the final time as Hurricanes in the 2014 Duck Commander Independence Bowl.

Canes don’t let Canes watch the game alone. Here’s a complete list of 2014 Miami Alumni Watch Parties.
