NBA Summer League Update: DJ & TMJ in Orlando

Former Hurricane hooopers DeQuan Jones and Trey McKinney Jones have each played a pair of games in the 2014 Samsung NBA Summer League in Orlando.

In two summer league games, Indiana Pacer Jones has scored 4.5 point in 19.0 minutes per game. In his best outing, he notched seven points, two rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block against the Celtics.

McKinney Jones is averaging 5.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 0.5 assists in 16.0 minutes per game for the Miami Heat. Against the Pistons, he scored nine points hitting two from downtown, and grabbed three rebounds and dished out a pair of assists.

Rion Brown (Hornets), Shane Larkin (Knicks) and Kenny Kadji (Bucks) are expected to participate in the Las Vegas League, which kicks off on July 11.

From July 5-11 the Orlando Magic are hosting the 25 games of the Orlando League at their Amway Center practice court. The Las Vegas League consists of 67 games between the dates of July 11 and July 21, which are being held at both the Thomas & Mack Center and the COX Pavilion on the campus of the University of Las Vegas. All games will be broadcast on NBA TV, NBA.com, and on the NBA Game Time app.
