'Greet the Canes' on Friday at the BUC

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami fans, students, faculty, staff and alumni are invited to “Greet the Canes” as the Hurricanes men’s basketball team returns home Friday at 12:30 p.m. at BankUnited Center.

Miami (29-7) advanced to the Sweet 16 for only the second time in school history before losing to No. 3 seed Marquette 71-61 on Thursday night in Washington, D.C.

Miami’s historic 2012-13 season featured the program’s first ACC regular-season and tournament titles, a school-record 29 wins, a school-record 15 conference wins and a program-tying No. 2 seed in the NCAA East Regional.
