“Cameron is our first big-timedistance swimmer that we’ve recruited since I got here,” Shefchunas said.”She’s not only a great distance swimmer, but a really awesome kid. When shecame on her visit, everyone fell in love with her. I think she’s going to begreat teammate.”

Shefchunas voiced her excitement about adding two talented swimmers to an already talent-laden roster.

“We definitely feel every year werecruit, we get better athletes,” Shefchunas said. “Where Angela’s times are atright now, she’s near where Lucy Worrall is. Cameron would be our best distanceswimmer. We’re getting better – there’s no doubt about it.”
