Sun Life Stadium Site of Canes' Annual Spring Game

CORAL GABLES, Fla.–The University of Miami and head football coach Al Golden announced today that it will host its annual BankUnited CanesFest and Spring Football Game on Saturday, April 14 at Sun Life Stadium. The Hurricanes spring practice schedule concludes with this free and open to the public scrimmage for the first time at our home stadium.  In conjunction with the BankUnited CanesFest the Miami Hurricanes will be hosting a stadium wide Select-A-Seat.  Fans are invited to come walk the Sun Life Stadium and select their seats for the upcoming season featuring home games against Florida State, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, NC State, USF and Bethune-Cookman.

The Miami Hurricanes begin the spring season on Saturday, March 3. All practices are closed to the public, but Golden has opened up every spring scrimmage and is taking the events on the road.

Coach Golden and the Canes will again scrimmage outside of Coral Gables, showcasing the team across the state. UM will play its March 24 scrimmage in South Florida. The second scrimmage will be held on the west coast of Florida on the evening of Friday, March 30.  Both of these events will be free and open to the public.  Location, times and additional details will be released at a later date.
