Edgerrin James rushed for 137 yards and three touchdowns and James Jackson ran for a pair of scores as 24th-ranked Miami cruised to a 42-7 victory over Temple in Philadelphia, PA.Miami dominated on both sides of the ball registering 415 yards of total offense while holding the Owls to just 205 yards. Miami also had its running game in full gear outrushing Pittsburgh 224-80.
Leading 28-0 at the half, Miami guarded against letting up against the Owls, who rallied for wins at Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh.
James ran five yards for a touchdown, putting the Hurricanes ahead 35-0 with 2:30 remaining in the third quarter.
