rested some guys and introduced Temple’s offensive tendencies to the
defense.”
Davis limited the activitiesof offensive guard Richard Mercier
(knee), middle linebacker Nate Webster (knee), strong side linebacker
Dan Morgan (thumb), and running back James Jackson (hamstring) in

“Those players are a littlebanged up and could use some time
off,” commented Davis. “With this being an open-week it’s a good
opportunity to rest some players so they will be able to go full speed
next week.”
The Hurricanes return toaction Saturday, November 14th when
