ORLANDO, Fla. – University of Miami All-American and 1999 NCAA Women’sDiver of the Year Jenny Keim (440.58) fell to eighth place in the finalsof the women’s 3-meter springboard diving competition at the U.S. SpringNational Diving Championships(in Orlando, FL. Erica Sorgi (MissionViejo, CA) won the event with 530.52 points.

Going into today’s 3-meter competition, Keim (477.66) was theNo. 1 seed with a 5.25 point lead over Sorgi (472.41). The sophomore’seighth place finish earned her a spot on the U. S. national team.Competition continues Sunday with finals in all four 10-meter platformevents.
