Wide Receivers to be Featured on Wednesday's Hurricane Hotline

CORAL GABLES, Fla. –This week’s Hurricane Hotline will take place on Wednesday night for the first time this season, and the wide receiving unit will be the center of attention during the season’s fifth show.

Hosts Joe Zagacki and Don Bailey Jr. will be live at Monty’s in Coconut Grove for the 7-9 p.m. show which airs on 560 WQAM and WQAM.com. Joining Zagacki and Bailey Jr. this week will be head coach Al Golden, wide receivers coach George McDonald and four UM wide receivers – Travis Benjamin, LaRon Byrd, Allen Hurns and Tommy Streeter.

While much of the attention will be on the development and production of UM’s wide receivers this season, there will also be plenty of discussion around this weekend’s game against Bethune-Cookman.

Fans in attendance at Monty’s will have the opportunity to meet the show’s guests, ask questions live on the air and win prizes from the WQAM staff throughout the event. Fans listening on the radio or online can also send questions to the Canes radio team via Twitter @hurricanesports.

Saturday’s game against Bethune-Cookman will be televised on ESPNU with a kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. WQAM, the Michael Irvin Show and the University of Miami are running a special ticket package for the game.
