CHICAGO–The Chicago Alumni Club is thrilled to host the 4th Annual Chicago Classic Dinner with Head Coach Al Golden, honoring Hurricane greats and NFL stars Ed Reed (Baltimore Ravens) and Greg Olsen (Chicago Bears) at The Metropolitan Club, on the 66th Floor of The Willis Tower, on Thursday, June 16 from 7 p.m.-10:30 p.m.

The Chicago Alumni Club is the only club of its kind to hold an event like this, in which the proceeds benefit the University of Miami Football program, as well as scholarships to help local students attend UM.  Last year’s event was a record-breaking year in both attendance and proceeds with more than $59,000 raised.

This year guests will enjoy an exclusive, intimate dinner and in-depth Q&A with coaches and former players; a silent and live auction with items such as game tickets and field passes, autographed merchandise from current and legendary Canes, golf outings at some of the most prestigious courses in the country, and much more.  Each registered guest will also receive a tote bag courtesy of High Sierra and be entered into a raffle to win two tickets to the Miami vs. Notre Dame game on October 6, 2012 at Soldier Field.

In addition to Coach Golden and the 2011 honorees, this year’s attendees include Offensive Coordinator Jedd Fisch, Defensive Coordinator Mark D’Onofrio, Offensive Line Coach Art Kehoe, in addition to great Hurricane alumni including Chicago natives Russell Maryland and Jarrett Payton, NFL Hall of Famer Ted Hendricks, and Ryan McNeil.

Space is limited and tickets will sell out. Tickets are priced at $250 ($225 for Alumni and Hurricane Club members).  All proceeds benefit the University of Miami Football program and scholarship programs to help local students attend the University.  Sponsorship opportunities are also available.  To register and for more information visit www.chicago-canes.org.

The Chicago Alumni Club is a volunteer organization committed to strengthening local alumni ties through quality services and programming, funding scholarships for local students, and assisting in the continued development and enhancement of the University of Miami.  For tickets and information about both events visit www.chicago-canes.org.
