CORAL GABLES, Fla. — The Monday Morning ProCanes report will weed through all the NFL highlights and news to bring you the information you care about the most… what the former University of Miami Hurricanes did during the week prior. One week after a disappointing end to the legendary touchdown streak, the Pro Canes started anew on an eye-popping score from Reggie Wayne in Week 12. Sunday’s action included the return of key streak contributors from injury, including wideouts Andre Johnson and Santana Moss, as well as clutch game-ending performances from two ProCanes defensive standouts.
Colin McCarthy (Tennessee Titans) – 10 tackles, 1 interception
The rookie linebacker made the second start of his career against the Tampa Bay Buccanners and once again found resounding success. For the third week in a row, McCarthy led the Titans in tackles (10), and single-handedly ended Tampa Bay’s potential game-winning drive with his first career interception in the fourth quarter. McCarthy, who has racked up 28 tackles in the past three games, helped lead the Titans to a 23-17 win over the Buccaneers and a 6-5 standing in the AFC South.

Reggie Wayne (Indianapolis Colts) – 5 catches, 122 yards, 1 touchdown
After promising to start a new ProCanes touchdown streak earlier in the week, the Colts’ Pro Bowl wide receiver came through in the clutch. Despite his team’s disappointing 27-19 loss to the Carolina Panthers at home, Wayne recorded perhaps the NFL’s most impressive touchdown catch of the year in the second quarter. His 122 yards, 56 of which came on the touchdown catch, marked the second 100-yard game of the season for Wayne, who now ranks 25th all-time in NFL receiving yards.

Willis McGahee (Denver Broncos) – 23 carries, 117 yards
The veteran running back led the Broncos to victory with his dominant performance in overtime of Denver’s 16-13 victory over division rival San Diego. McGahee, who ran for 45 yards in the extra period, has already statistically recorded his strongest season since 2007. The Broncos most consistent weapon, who ran for over 100 yards for the fifth time this season, now finds himself just outside the top-10 among NFL running backs in rushing yards (775, 12th).

Kelly Jennings (Cincinatti Bengals) – 3 tackles, 2 passes defended
Playing in a key fourth quarter moment for the Bengals defense, Jennings batted down a pass from Browns quarterback Colt McCoy intended for star wideout Josh Cribbs that sealed the divisional win for Cincinatti. Jennings, who is playing his first season in Cincinatti after five seasons with Seattle, finished the 23-20 Bengals victory with three tackles and his first two pass break-ups of the year.
