Michael Irvin Deal is Back
In collaboration with WQAM and the Michael Irvin Show, the University of Miami is also announcing the return of the Michael Irvin 4-for-$47 deal for the season finale against Boston College. As fans know, the #47 jersey was made famous by Irvin over his Hurricane career. These tickets must be purchased in blocks of four and are available by clicking HERE or by calling 1-800-GO-CANES.
The Michael Irvin Show with Curtis Stevenson airs Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on 560 WQAM and WQAM.com.
Miami Hurricanes game day has a new tradition. Hurricane fans are invited to take part in the walk by forming a “human tunnel” from Gate H (Southwest Corner of Stadium) to Gate A. Join your fellow Hurricanes, the Band of the Hour, Sebastian and the cheer squads as the 2011 Miami Hurricanes football team walks from its arrival point into Sun Life Stadium. To take part in this event and welcome the Canes in grand fashion, make sure you are at Gate H by 1:30 p.m.

Annual Football Banquet
The University of Miami will be hosting its annual football awards banquet Saturday, Dec. 10 at Jungle Island in Miami, Fla. The banquet, emceed by Hurricanes radio voice Don Bailey Jr., begins with a reception at 12 noon and follows with a luncheon and awards program at 1 p.m. The banquet will celebrate performances from the 2011 football season, including the team’s 25 seniors.
Tickets to the event cost $60 per person and can be purchased online at HurricaneSports.com, by calling the Hurricane Club at (305) 284-6699, or by visiting the Hurricane Club on the second floor of the Hecht Athletic Center.
Those planning to attend must RSVP by Tuesday, Dec. 6. Dress code for the event is business attire. Jungle Island is located at 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail, Miami, Fla., 33132.
The Miami Hurricanes are offering fans the chance to experience the gameday atmosphere from the comforts of their own computer screen. “Gameday Companion 2.0” will supplement the ESPN national broadcast (8:00 p.m.) with tweets from @HurricaneSports, streaming audio from 560 WQAM, live individual and team statistics, as well as an exclusive opportunity to chat with Hurricane fans and insiders, all in one easy-to-navigate page. GameDay Companion will be available starting at 7:30pm, approximately 30 minutes before kickoff.
