CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami swimmer Dana Hatic will compete for the South Florida Aquatics Club as part of the Sette Colli Roma Meet beginning Friday, June 17 in Rome. The official meet is the 48th Annual Sette Colli International Open and runs through Sunday, June 19.

The Hurricanes’ junior and native of Coral Springs, Fla. is a longtime swimmer for the South Florida Aquatics Club, and will compete for the team in the 50-, 100- and 200-meter breaststroke events. In 2010-11, Hatic had two of the Hurricanes’ top three times in the 100-yard breaststroke. Additionally, she posted the top performance in the 200 breaststroke at the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships, taking a 12th place finish in the event – which was an NCAA provisional qualifying time.

The three-day meet has heats and finals in all events except the 800 and 1500. There will also be “B” finals for 50-meter freestyle, 200-meter freestyle and for 100-meters of each stroke.
