Hurricane Hotline: Tuesday Night at Monty's

CORAL GABLES, Fla.– Hurricane fans are invited to Monty’s in Coconut Grove for a special Tuesday night Hurricane Hotline featuring head coach Randy Shannon and Director of Athletics Kirby Hocutt.
With Miami set to play at Pittsburgh Thursday night, Hurricane Hotline will air live on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. on 560 WQAM. Hosts Joe Zagacki and Don Bailey Jr. will be set up in the outside dining area where fans are invited to attend and join in during the two-hour show, featuring Shannon in the first hour and Hocutt in the second.
In addition, ESPN.com BIG EAST blogger Brian Bennett will provide insight from the Pitt perspective during the show, while a special guest is also expected to call in.Fans in attendance will get a chance to speak with both Shannon and Hocutt as well as win prizes from the WQAM staff throughout the event.
Thursday’s Miami-Pitt game will be televised live on ESPN at 7:30 p.m. from Heinz Field. It will be the first meeting between the two programs since Miami won 28-14 in Pittsburgh on Nov. 29, 2003. The `Canes own the all-time series with the Panthers, 21-9-1.
Monty’s is located at 2550 S. Bayshore Drive, Coconut Grove, FL, 33133. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to get a table near the action. Hourly specials will be available throughout the show.
