Miami's Katie Meier Heads Key West PAL Clinic

KEY WEST, Fla. – The University of Miami women’s basketball head coach, Katie Meier, joined up with the Key West Police Athletic League (PAL) for a free basketball clinic at the Frederick Douglas Community Center Gym open to boys and girls on Saturday, Aug. 7.

Meier, along with her coaching staff provided free instruction to all children in grades kindergarten to eighth, giving tips on how to improve their basketball skills.

Meier has participated in the Key West PAL sponsored event in each of the last two years.

The Hurricanes, under Meier just came off one their most successful seasons, advancing to the WNIT Championship game and compiling a 22-14 record.
