KIA Roll In A Soul Winner

CORAL GABLES, Fla. — After thousands of entries and more than a month of anticipation, the winner of a new 2011 Kia Soul – in the “Will You Roll in a Soul” promotion – was presented with her keys during the University of Miami vs. Virginia Tech football game.

Winner Ana Cedeno, 52, a resident of Hialeah, has her daughter Michelle to thank for entering her in the promotion, which was conducted in 180 McDonald’s stores throughout Miami/Dade and Broward counties from September 20 through October 31.

Cedano’s new fully-loaded Soul is valued at more than $19,000.

“I was at a McDonald’s in Hialeah and saw the promotion and entered my mother via the website www.hurricanesports.com/Cars4Canes,” Michelle – coincidentally a University of Miami freshman studying psychology – told Nick Verna, district sales manager from Kia during a telephone call announcing the big news.

Verna and Phillip Bayless, district parts and service manager at Kia, handed Cedeno the keys to her Soul at her first ever University of Miami football game.

“Words can’t describe how excited I am about winning this car,” Cedeno said following the on-field presentation. “We’ve been having car troubles for some time because my current car is ten years old and in really bad shape. It’s such a relief to know that we don’t have to deal with that for a long time.”
