Miami to Open Season with First Practice on Monday

The University of Miami women’s basketball team will hold its first practice of the season on Monday, Oct. 4, the same day that HurricaneSports.com will launch the U Women’s Hoops Blog.
The Hurricanes first official practice will be held Monday afternoon. After practice, video interviews with head coach Katie Meier and select players will be featured on HurricaneSports.com All-Access, discussing the start of practice and the upcoming season.
Additionally, HurricaneSports.com is proud to announce the launch of THE U WOMEN’S HOOPS BLOG to coincide with the start of basketball practice. The U Women’s Hoops Blog can be accessed atUWomensHoops.tumblr.com.
The U Blog will provide fans with access to the women’s basketball program, head coach Katie Meier and the `Canes players. Run from inside the walls of the UM Athletics Department and from courtside of the women’s basketball program, the blog will feature rich multimedia content exclusive to HurricaneSports.com and presented to The U fan base on a regular basis.
