Blake Stockton named Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week

Freshman soccer player Blake Stockton has been named the Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week. The forward out of Linwood, N.J. made her collegiate debut against the 11th-ranked Florida Gators. With her team trailing 1-0, Stockton stole the ball deep in the Florida zone and buried a strong left-footed shot into the back of the net.

Two days later at Stetson, the newcomer picked up an assist on Brittney Steinbruch’s game-winning goal in the 36th minute. After two games, Stockton leads the Hurricanes with three points.
