Interactive Gameday Companion Ready for Ohio State

CORAL GABLES, FLA – Log on to HurricaneSports.com during Saturday’s game at Ohio State to chat with fans live on Miami’s Gameday Companion. It will be a one-stop shop for live stats, tweets, chats and WQAM radio as the No. 12 ‘Canes take to the road to face the second-ranked Buckeyes.
Fans that are watching the game at home on ESPN can fire up the Gameday Companion and have an interactive social media experience during the event. The companion is intended to supplement the TV coverage by providing live stats, WQAM radio, tweets and a chance to chat with Miami insiders throughout the game.
The Gameday Companion, which debuted for Miami’s season-opening win over Florida A&M, will launch on HurricaneSports.com at 3:10 p.m. Eastern (30 minutes before kickoff), but web browsers can get a sneak peek at the interactive experience right now.

The Miami-Ohio State game will be aired live on ESPN with the broadcast crew of Brad Nessler, Todd Blackledge and Holly Rowe, and will also be available on ESPN3D with the broadcast crew of Joe Tessitore, Tim Brown and Ray Bentley. Saturday’s showdown at Ohio Stadium is one of three regular season ACC games to be shown in 3D.
The 560 WQAM radio broadcast begins with Hurricanes Gameday at 11:30 a.m. Eastern. The team of Joe Zagacki, Don Bailey Jr. and Josh Darrow will take UM fans from pregame through 60 minutes of hard-hitting action on the field. Aftewards, Jon Linder, Lamar Thomas and Darren Smith will lead the postgame show.
